Alli Rogers Interviewed by BBC Radio Northampton
Alli Rogers gave an interview to the Bernie Keith Show on BBC Radio Northampton on 27th July 2022 for her children’s book, The Bee Who Didn’t Want to Be a Bee. She talked about her shift from being a self-employed cleaner and a self-employed gardener to being an author to express herself.
The Bee Who Didn’t Want to Be a Bee is a children’s storybook. It stresses different words starting with B, such as bee, be, and many other syllables. It aids children in learning words that begin with the letter B. The story revolves around a bumble bee who wants to be anything but a bee, even if it's only for one day. The story teaches children to never aspire to be someone else, instead be grateful for being themselves in their skin because the grass always seems greener on the other side.
Alli Rogers born in Singapore in 1962, was a cleaner and a gardener. Covid lockdown incited her to become an author. She graduated from the University of Nottingham and worked as a Banker for a decade. She persues the genres of children's books and psychological thrillers.
