'Banbury Guardian' a local newspaper featured George Spackman’s book ‘The Adventures of Jonathan’. The article talks about the upcoming launch of the book and the author’s hope for turning it into a sequel. The book is focused on the anti-bullying theme turned into short stories.

‘The Adventures of Jonathan’ is a collection of stories of multiple-lives Jonathan has lived throughout the history. Jonathan who in his present life is bullied both at his school and home, in every life he was born as a different person in a different era with a different story. Stories involving, amongst others, Ancient Warriors, Smugglers, Chimney Sweeps, Native American Indians and Artisans of Paris.

Peter George Spackman, published an enlightening book ‘An A-Z of 1001 Field-Names and Their Interpretation’. This is his second book. Both his books are reflective of his lifelong interest in History and Archaeology. He has worked in a variety of diverse occupations concluding in 27 years as a civil servant until he retired. Since retirement, the author has obtained a BA (Hons) from the University of Leicester.
