With the Abu Dhabi ­International Book Fair overtaking, book-lovers and culture cliques took part in the Book Fair at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 24th to 30th April. This infusion of culture and art was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Abu Dhabi embraced 1,010 exhibitors from 50 different countries which showcased more than 500,000 varied titles in various languages and once again, Austin Macauley Publishers were a part of this prestigious event. This 29th edition of the book fair was a complete stand out - one big party, everyone was invited to! With 18% increased visitors from the preceding year, the venue was flooded with authors busy shedding light on the meaning of their work. Being the happening event that it was, there were large numbers of publishers present and also librarians, and not to forget the presence of artists and the illustrators inspiring people from their art.   Austin Macauley was a proud part of this transformational event celebrating another year; we had the chance to greet new and established authors, a few of who had their books showcased on our booth. Our team also had the humble privilege to get a chance to meet up with Shika Butol Al Qasimi from the Royal Family as well as Chef Bobby Chinn. We briefed them about our books and were highly praised for our efforts. In regard to our efforts on the event, our books will benefit to educate KG1 and KG2 and we would like to thank certain meetings for this opening. We have also successfully initiated collaboration with UAEBooks and DXB-BOOKS as a result of this book fair. In addition to the successful sale of over 600 of our books during the 4- day fair, we have also greeted 42 new submissions as a part of our journey to the future ahead.     With this groundbreaking work from the organizers for creating such a profound event, Austin Macauley really looks forward to how these relationships will evolve and help the publishing industry grow collectively in the upcoming times. Austin Macauley would like to appreciate its whole team for creating content and a display that shows the more dynamic ways and extended measures have been taken to engage the audience and the readers. We acknowledge all of our team that has aided us in evolving to lead the global publishing industry in such a prominent forum like this.
