ABC South East Interviewed Rebecca Watson – Author of the Children’s Book, Call Me Frank
ABC South East interviewed Rebecca Watson. She is the author of the children’s book, Call me Frank. Rebecca told in the interview that she is passionate about writing and wanted to write this book to celebrate children who have a strong imagination. The complete interview can be accessed here.
Call me Frank is the story of a boy named Frank who is an introvert and feels lonely all the time. He strongly craves a friend that he can have fun with. In his imagination, he makes a friend called Charles Charlie. He develops a strong bond with Charles in his imagination and together they indulge in fun and adventurous activities. Charles also becomes a source of support, guidance and companionship for Frank. Call me Frank is for kids of lower primary level between 5 to 8 years of age.
Rebecca Watson said that it took a lot of efforts to be persistent about sending your work to publishers and the journey was not easy. She added that she was ecstatic to hold the published copy of the book and was really looking forward to it. The book can be found here.
Rebecca Watson is an avid traveller and loves different cultures. She resides in Adelaide with her husband named Mathew and daughter named Sofia.
