‘Fly-Fishing for Business Wellbeing’ by ‘Mike Marshal’ Gets Featured In The Daily Mail
Mike Marshal’s autobiographical book titled Fly-Fishing for Business Wellbeing was featured in the Daily Mail on 10th May 2021. Discussing fly-fishing as a possible treatment for troubled minds, the author quoted Dr Max Pemberton as “Is there anything more relaxing than fishing while sitting on a riverbank.” In the feature, the author discussed how he started fly fishing as a teenager and is still enjoying it even after retirement.
Fly-Fishing for Business Wellbeing is an autobiography of Mike Marshal in which he has shared the knowledge he has accumulated throughout his life while teaching innumerable people to cast a fly. According to him, it is not a scientific guide about fly-fishing but an informal account of the various factors involved in successful fly-fishing. The author hopes he can bring forward this sport as a means for people’s mental and physical wellbeing.
Mike Marshal was born in 1936 and has since lived in Essex, England. He got an Engineering degree from Chelmsford Technical College. He started fishing as a hobby when he was five years old. Now as he has retired, he has also devoted some time to salmon fishing. He is the president of the British Fly-Casting Club.
