‘Childhoods Are Forever’ by Tony Muddimer Featured in Local Newspaper
Leicester Mercury Newspaper featured a review of book ‘Childhoods are Forever’ and an introduction to the author Tony Muddimer, stating his father Ron worked with Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond. The feature reviewed that the book highlights the invaluable contribution of women towards the war efforts. Furthermore, the praise has been given to the periodic sketch of WWII and the outbreak of conflict with Adolf Hitler.
‘Childhoods are Forever’ is a biography about childhood in wartimes, father deployed to ‘very hazardous services’ for the country and coping with a dysfunctional family. The story also speaks of the opportunities to meet all the heroic men who went in the circles of enemies to obtain classified information about Germany.
Tony Muddimer was born prior to WWII thus his childhood witnessed the traumatic events of war including German bombing, food shortage and students crowded into the classroom due to most teachers deployed to fight in the war.
