A feature was published about Nanny Sue’s book, Jack, the Pirate with a Secret. The feature came out in the paper, Cheadle and Tean Times on Wednesday, the 3^rd of March 2021. The feature wrote about the travel of Nanny’s book to Italy from Moorlands. This was made possible by a teacher who lived in Moorlands before moving to Italy, where he now works as a teacher. The teacher took the book along to include it in the teaching curriculum, for kids of all year groups. This is a great achievement since now the book would serve the purpose it actually was designed for.

Nanny Sue, herself, worked as a teacher and has inculcated a love for books in many children. Her pirate book is meant for teaching purposes since it ends on a note which can spark a healthy discussion between kids and the one who reads to them (a teacher, a parent or a care taker). She lives in the beautiful Moorlands and loves to travel. This has taken her to many fascinating places and into the oceans as well. Her book is a perfect read for young kids and is decorated with the adventures of a pirate named Jack.
