In the Beginning
Time is all. A new cycle has begun.
The Atlas Mountains in Morocco, present day: A Berber boy, Uyyub, falls asleep under a sacred tree and dreams the tree talks to him. Curious and intrigued, he returns, but this time the tree talks to him when he is not asleep. Together they travel through time, charting the course of the evolution of life on Earth with particular reference to his clan’s genesis. Uyyub’s sister, Thiyya, joins them to watch the dirty-dancing dinosaurs and ends up interacting with events at the meeting between man and superman. Belief, Sid, is close by on all occasions to guide the brother and sister towards the final meeting with Time himself.
Our solar system is one of the several nurseries within the universe, devised by Time and his many personalities (the gang) to promote life and help staunch Time’s ongoing boredom.
The experiment on planet Earth is a miraculous success, giving rise to much speculation within Time’s gang. It is, therefore, being closely monitored and so the illegal time travellers are soon discovered, prompting a race between Time, who is determined to put an end to this anomaly; and the sacred tree, equally determined to enlighten the children fully of their heritage. Who will win the race?

To be accepted for who, not what you are.
Ever since the wings had grown, all I was seen as was a monster. Maybe now they would be able to see past them, to who I really am.
I suppose all I could do was wait and see.

Lost Soul: A Child's Perspective
How could an astute 11-year-old child called Susie manage to pull off the impossible by escaping from the grips of her abusive and dominant father? She knew in her mind that there would have to be a trade-off which she would have had to come to terms with, and possibly regret for the rest of her life.
Finding herself thrust into the care of the local authority, she is taken aback and shaken to the core by the contrast in the family that she has left behind and the new ‘family’ that she has now inherited.
She finds herself in a ‘no-man’s land,’ where she can either wait and see where life takes her, or admit defeat and return home to her abusive and dominating father, who she feels will have the upper hand over her, not only physically, but also psychologically.
Susie’s resolve is stronger than it has ever been, and although she is faced with feelings of despair and helplessness of being let down by the system that she thought was supposed to be there to protect her when she needed it most, she pushes through into what seems to be an uncertain future. She has a steely determination to face life head on, and is resolute in her mind to keep on going, pushing forwards to see where life takes her.
