The Life I Won
A gripping tale of strength, resilience and of how life can be devastating yet beautiful at the same time.
She was born to a working-class family in Manchester. Her father was her inspiration. She idolised this charismatic man, and he told her every day that she was special. Emulating her beloved father’s work ethic, Mandy worked on a market stall at thirteen years old, then went off to university at eighteen, always working to help financially. From nothing and nowhere she built a successful career in an unexpected place. She was admired, respected and had made it.
Then her world literally fell apart and life took her on a journey from abundance to rock bottom. There were lessons to be learned on this rocky road and if she wanted to stay alive, it was her duty to learn them.
Facing relentless challenges, losing people she loved and every penny she had, many would have given up. But not this woman, because her dad had told her she was special.
Heart-breaking, enlightening and ultimately uplifting, The Life I Won tells a story of success despite adversity. It will teach you that if you have the right attitude, you can play the game of life and win, no matter how bad it seems.

The Living History of Medicine
The history of medicine is a living one and involves much more than reflecting on the battles that have been won or lost in the ever-changing struggle against disease. The living history really lies within man himself and too often the human side of this story is neglected. As doctors, we have been trained to focus on the signs of disease and consequently, we pay little attention to the people who discovered them. When we read in our pathology texts about the interesting triad of defects in an illness such as Hand-Schuller-Christian disease, we tend to forget about the doctors who faced great personal hardships to bring us the information we now use to treat the disorder.
Dr Treacy is recognised as one of the most influential aesthetic practitioners in the world. He was awarded ‘Top Aesthetic Practitioner in the World’ (2019) and ‘Doctor of the Year’ UK & Ireland (2019). In this fascinating book, he takes us on a journey with Osler’s famed ‘Goddess of Medicine’ and explains how she is continually on the move, fleeing from battles, tyranny, and oppression, seeking to find a home where man can have study pathology in peace. She has moved from Edinburgh to Dublin, from London to Vienna, from Berlin to Maryland, then onwards to California to guide doctors in the wonders of new technologies, translating the genetic blueprint, manipulating defects in the data code of our existence and help us all fight the more complex diseases like the coronaviruses of the new millennium.

The Long Road to Freedom
People in my position must often ask themselves what the answer is? How did I get here? At what cost?
And how did I finally come out on the other side, into a world where the grass is green and smells fresh. And where life is worth living and relishing for every last facet of its existence - a place where utopia can exist for the simplest of men.
It is ironic that what finally triggered my debut book was being handed the psychiatric report on our youngest daughter’s suicide.
People always say that inside every good journalist is a book, and I always joked that that ruled me out in that case.
But then I thought about what everyone is looking for - the secret of a happy life. And this story is about the journey that it took to get there.
We will never be able to bring her back. Obviously. But we can take massive strides towards rebuilding a family that was once so strong, and bringing it back to a time when laughter really was the most valuable thing we had.
You will laugh and you will cry in equal measure, and hopefully somewhere along the way you will be inspired.
But what you could not do, no matter how you tried, is make any of this stuff up.£3.50 -

The first part of the book outlines key concepts which form the building blocks to the author’s theory, and explains why modern love relationships have become increasingly complex.
The second part of the book is a step-by-step practical overview of how love consciousness can grow through four maturational stages of human experience:
1. Sensuality, 2. Sexuality, 3. Advanced Intimacy, and 4. Compassion.

How well did he relate to the women in his life and who was ‘the disciple that Jesus loved’?
This story answers these questions and is based largely on the New Testament gospels, but with the addition of material from other sources. The Mastery of Life
This book analyses and provides insights into eight key parts of a meaningful life, which when mastered, will make big difference in your life. Due to the complexity of our biological make up, it’s almost impossible to cover all relevant topics without losing focus on what’s important. The aim is to give you a starting point so that you can ask yourself questions about who you really are and what you need to do to be the best you can be. Normally, that is only possible by understanding basic holistic principles of your being, such as interaction of your mind, body and consciousness for the creation of the perfection that you are. The main reason is that everything comes from within and everything you will ever need resides right within you and nowhere else. This means that if you want something, look no further than yourself. Because whatever you desire, you already have it within you and when you become consciously aware of it, the universe has no other choice but to abide by your desire.
This book provides you with the starting point of your journey into self-awareness. Here is the brief summary of the topics covered: understanding your thoughts and dreams; the complex relationship of your thoughts and emotions; causes of stress; living in now; the power of self-belief; effective communication; relationships and understanding your body.
Naturally, it will take many books and volumes to truly depict principles behind the mastery of life, but every journey starts with one small step and maybe this book represents that step; the step that will ultimately lead you to master your own life.

The Matrix of the Mind
There are many phenomena in the current world that defy explanation from mainstream science. This book introduces a revolutionary concept, Matrix Model Theory, which provides a simple, unique and original insight into the events that led to the formation of the cosmos and the establishment of the planet Earth with its life-sustaining environment. The theory further provides an alternative explanation as to how life originated, how mankind became established and describes the most amazing event of all that occurred, i.e., the technological evolution of the human mind. The book, using Matrix Model Theory, explains how the first living cell evolved survived and was able to replicate. The phenomenon of telepathy is examined, and research by several reputable institutions have established that telepathy does exist and has been proven. Its function is explained by the theory. Although not a useful faculty, it provides a valuable insight into the functioning of the human (and animal) mind.
Matrix Model Theory also explains a wide range of animal behaviour including how a hive of bees can function as a ‘super organism’ which means that the bees sometimes behave as though they are partially under the influence of a single mind. Similarly, termites have the amazing ability to coordinate the construction of complex tunnels within their nests. Although blind, they seem to be from the same blueprint. This book is targeted at the general reader who has an enquiring mind and refers to scientific matters that have been explained in easily readable terms.
