Ken Ward, born in 1960, began his serious writing career in 2008 after joining a local writer’s group. He introduced Detective D.I. Ray Keane, with his first short story, has since continued the popular Norfolk-based series with Straw, Blood, and Bones. Writing solo at his computer, Ken’s characters evolve and assist in shaping the story. Outside of crafting mysteries, he resides in Norfolk with his wife, Jan, and their two poodles.
