Harley is a very clever puppy, so when she woke up and couldn’t find her humans, she knew something strange was going on. She had so many questions! Why would they leave without me? Why didn’t they leave me a treat? Why is Nanny taking me for a walk? But more importantly: Where are my humans?

Natalia Price qualified and worked as a schoolteacher in Brazil, where she originally comes from. When she came to the UK, she worked in nurseries and crèches, mostly with infants and toddlers. After working with children for a total of 18 years, Natalia decided to have a career change and became a police detective. Meanwhile, she had her first and only child, Róisín Isabella, whose interactions with the family’s Jack Russell puppy, Harley, provided inspiration for Natalia’s writing.
