I was recently given a Copy of this fascinating book and enjoyed reading it immensely. I felt transported into the World of Birmingham and surrounding areas, and the Life of a Charity Shop. Many of us peruse in Charity Shops and appreciate how many different things they sell for Very reasonable prices, and this book explains very well and amusingly what really is involved from day to day.

I love this book! It was recommended by a friend as they know I like animals and helping in the community. It was a short but lovely read. I use charity shops all the time but had no real understanding of how they work and this was an interesting back story to the plot. The fun and witty writing made me smile and at times laugh out loud. It is a book to treasure and reread. Recommended!
