Arlo was a little boy in Prue’s school who did not smile, not ever. Prue had noticed and decided to do something about this as she felt that Arlo was missing out on one of the best feelings she knew, feeling happy. Prue had an idea, and this was going to be a very extraordinary idea because Prue was a witch, a good witch, and her friends were fairies. This book is for all children who have ever felt different. You are never alone because you will always have your amazing self.

The author is passionate in creating an inclusive environment for our diverse population. Working in psychology services for the NHS, she is a passionate advocate for identifying barriers in a person’s world and uncovering ways to overcome these in order to create the best version of ourselves. Through her writing, Lisa introduces a non-judgmental approach to difference and acceptance. The author is married and has three daughters and one grandson, all of whom share the magic.
