A little fantasy about a grandma field mouse who is sad and lonely after her children left home, her husband died, and she lost her home when the farmer ploughed up his field.Gradually she realised that she could reach out and make plans that included her Grand-mice and her friends and plan new adventures and a new life – and be happy again.
Ruth Leggott lives with her husband in a retirement village just outside New Plymouth, New Zealand. She has two adult children who loved bedtime stories when they were little. She has dabbled in short story writing over the years and had a few successes in local competitions. This is the first time she has submitted her work to a publisher.
