The Glen of Imaal terrier are an endangered breed of dog. Stephen and George had owned four of these beautiful dogs and had the idea of writing children's books based on these dogs.
After a chance meeting in a London pub, Raymond and Stephen met and two years later, Raymond has written a series of books about these lovable creatures, after extricating their personalities and ideas from Stephen and putting pen to paper.
RAYMOND hails from Annfield Plain, County Durham. At the age of fifteen-and-a-half, Raymond joined the British Army. He served in the Northumberland Fusiliers for twenty-six years, serving in Aden, Cyprus, Germany and Northern Ireland. He has always been passionate about writing and has had published two books, one of which was self-published.
STEPHEN grew up in the Royal Borough of Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire. At the age of seventeen, he spent one year at the Walsall Dance Academy, learning performing arts but with regret he did not pursue his passion and went to work in the family business of construction. As a steel fixer, Stephen worked all over Britain, Ireland, Germany and when an opportunity arose for him to live and work in Canada, he gladly accepted.
