Ronny Squirrel and Cocoa Hare are out and about in Glenric-Haven when an encounter with an unexpected creature brings them a day of questions, surprises, and adventure. For best friends, Ronny and Cocoa, dragons are merely a myth. Creatures who disappeared many moons ago. That all changes when they find a young dragon lost and alone. Can Ronny Squirrel and Cocoa Hare successfully discover the truth, solve the myth, and reunite a baby dragon with his family?

Anna Duff spent her youth growing up in the Scottish Highlands watching and wondering at the unique wildlife that called these areas home, from Red Squirrels to Pine Martens and Hares.

From the occasional glimpses on gentle walks through the trees to far off sights on mountain hikes, Anna has always imagined about the lives of these elusive animals.

As a bit of light relief from her university studies, Anna finally decided to put pen to paper so to speak and tell the tales of Scotland’s wildlife: their lives, their friends and their adventures.

This is a lovely story to share with the children in your life. Who doesn't like a tale that includes a dragon and especially a cute baby dragon? We have enjoyed the Scottish setting and the occasional nods to the dialect -'Aye'. Loved the history tale within the story and our favourite phrase was 'tied their bones to this land' The illustrations are very colourful, with cute characters and some lovely additions including a kilt, another nod to Scotland, and a pipe. All in all a happy tale with relatable characters.
