Rockdale in Nebraska is an ordinary town with an extraordinary secret, a secret that is unwittingly uncovered when local intern archaeologist Ash Wakehurst and Professor Hopkins discover a new chamber in the caverns behind Rockdale Falls. They can never imagine the catastrophic events that will follow, events that will impact Ash and the lives of everyone in Rockdale as they are caught up in an epic struggle between good and evil. When the truth about his past is unravelled, Ash must come to terms with his role in preventing a certain apocalypse while trying to keep those he cares about safe from harm. As the ancient prophecy threatens to come to pass and he becomes the hunted, Ash's fate is intertwined with that of the beautiful homicide detective Anya Chemarov and Rana, his mysterious new lover. Both women are prepared to fight to protect him, but it is a fight that threatens to cost them everything as evil sweeps across the town. It is a fight where choices must be made and sides chosen.
