Playing outside is lots of fun… until a poor decision teaches you that it’s not. The Around the Corner Man lurks just outside of the safe perimeter. He lies in wait, eager to prey on those who don’t stay by their parents’ side. When Fran goes outside, he’s ready for an adventure, but when he ventures off on his own, he discovers what happens when children disobey the rules. Soon, he’s whisked off to a place far, far away from his family and the playground. Follow young Fran’s adventure as he navigates a fine line between the safe confines of life with Mum, Dad, and grandparents, and ends up somewhere he could have never imagined was true in this fun, informative children’s picture book!

A nice little read which teaches children about the importance of staying close to a “known” grown-up. Informative without being too scary. Definitely recommend.
