I thoroughly enjoyed the book. There are lots of interesting characters brought to life by very descriptive writing that created brilliant word pictures, supported by the graphics themselves. There is a speed in the story that draws you on to the next page. The values of friendship and trust between Tattoo and the pelican Spike gives us a re-assurance that life is good and we are safe in our own homes. My wife who is responsible for the love of reading in our young ones, described it as an interesting, happy story that will appeal to parents reading to their young children. Older children in the 6-9 years age group will also enjoy reading Tattoos Tale for themselves .
I think we can look forward to more of Tattoo`s stories from Rachel Alexandra.
