Super Harry is my son’s favourite book and the most heartwarming story of kindness and respect. It’s so refreshing to read a children’s book with such a powerful message that we should all help one another, even from such a young age. It is also an inspired way of explaining to our children what a pandemic is and how amazingly heroic the NHS and other key workers have been. Harry shows courage, empathy and compassion, which is just the kind of role model I want my son to be reading about. Such a wonderful book!

  • Sophia and William's World

Do your children love books and superheroes? I know, my two do, so without a doubt this is William and Sophia's new favorite book!
Emma Wyatt has kindly sent us her first published book by Austin Macauley Publishers! It's based on a true story about her superhero son, Harry.
It's a great read about how her son was inspired to raise money for our amazing NHS, during the current pandemic. Also, Emma is donating some of the profit from each book sold to the NHS charities to continue her son's bike ride fundraiser.

We are a family of book lovers dso when the lovely Emma Wyatt contacted me to ask if I would like to review her book, I said yes. Emma is a local mum of two boys who I've had the pleasure of meeting. The book is all about one of her sons, Harry.
Harry loves to ride his balance bike and pretend to be a superhero. One day when out on a ride, he notices everywhere around him is quiet. when Harry finds out why and that there are some real-life superheroes helping to protect us, he decides to help.
Who are the real-life superheroes that Harry wants to help? What does Harry do? You will have to read the book to find out!
when I told the girls that this is a true story, they were very impressed.
I love that the book is written in verse. It's easy for children to relate to as sadly they have just experienced the situation that Harry describes. Harry shows children that it doesn't matter that how old you are, you can still make a difference. Kindness costs nothing but can make a difference to so many. Such a lovely inspiring story!

Harry is indeed a real-life superhero. During the pandemic, he rode his balance bike to raise money for our amazing NHS and Emma is going to donate some of the proceeds from the book to the NHS Charities to keep the fundraising going.

When we were asked if we would like a copy of her new book Super Harry, of course, we said yes, please.
Based on true events of 2020 Harry is a very special boy who wanted to do something for the NHS heroes he became away of, and in the process, he became a little hero in his own right by raising money doing what he loves, riding his balance bike.
Miss M loved the determination, positivity and kindness that Harry has and read it many times already.
From all the things she has learnt over the last year, through mummy being a nurse, she was so inspired and grateful for what Harry achieved. It's a beautifully written book (in verse, so easy to read), which shows that kindness can go a long way and make a difference.
