Carlos Abelardo Vicioso Solano was born in Santo Domingo, on September 30, 1965. He obtained a master’s degree in diplomacy and consular service (INESDYC-MIREX). He worked as an odontopediatrician (UASD) and international analyst and studied English, French, Portuguese, German, Mandarin, Swedish and Old Castilian. He had published many articles in Dominican newspapers and was a member of the literary movement Transmillenium Lit. Later, he served as a minister counsellor in Portugal and Austria (CTBTO / UNIDO). He is the author of novels Yo, Rodrigo de Siglos, Amor y metralla, Gajes del Azar and La tia Agata. Currently, he is serving as a minister counsellor in Sweden.
