  • what_the_wild_things_read

le wild thing that is not wanting to go to sleep?
Ask them if they’d rather sleep up high in a tree-like a koala or if they’d rather sleep under a tree like a fox.
Turns out a cosy bed in a warm house is the best option!

We love the rhythm and rhyme of this book… makes for a lovely read before bed!

So how will you sleep is absolutely charming. A wonderful Bedtime read for younger children. Told in rhyme with beautiful illustrations. We go on a sleep journey with all kinds of animals....the story flows really well and is a fun way to introduce different animals to the reader and chat about them. I highly recommend this one.

So How Will You Sleep is a lovely bedtime book and such a wonderful introduction to animals and habitats for young readers. We’re introduced to a variety of animals from all around the world and where they sleep. I really admire the gentleness of the rhyming text and how well written it is for bedtime; it’s got a really soothing quality.
This will be going in my little one's bedtime book basket and I’ll be taking it to school with me!

It is adorable! Has a lovely rhyming pattern and you learn all about different animals sleep. Amazing discussion for habitats, nocturnal animals etc!

A goodnight book for animal lovers. The text has a repetitive rhyming structure that will appeal to little ones. Each page has a different animal and their unique sleep strategy or situation. I think page turns could have been used better to transition from one animal to the next, but the concept of contemplating each way animals sleep is a fun one. The illustrations add a warm, cozy feel. It all ends with a baby cozy in their own crib.

This lovely story looks at how a range of different animals goes to sleep, it would be perfect as a bedtime story! Or for a topic on animals? Each page is a verse and rhymes which is my favourite kind of story to read aloud! The illustrations by Samantha Thorley are also lovely and just so cute too!
Definitely recommend checking this one out!

When I first read this book, I instantly fell in love with it! The drawings are so beautiful as they were relaxing in the color theme of bedtime but at the same time vivid and capturing. The rhyming and tone are incredibly soothing. The kids loved seeing how each selected animal slept on every page. They giggled every once in a while, when we talked about and imagined them sleeping the same way as the animals. This was a GREAT bedtime book!
