Monique Cohen was born in Sydney, Australia. Always curious about the emotional realm and the human psyche, she trained as a clinical psychologist and specialised in child and adolescent psychotherapy. During her training, she married and had two enchanting and hilariously entertaining daughters. She also has two adorable labradoodles and a
rabbit called Vladimir. She is currently working in her own private practice and thoroughly enjoys, and is enlivened by, her interactions with all her clients.

Amazing book for parents and grandparents! Very funny, practical, and easy to read. Love the sections for fathers. Would make an excellent Christmas gift for young families!

This book is an enjoyable, easy read that has wonderful insights into the world of parenting. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is at the beginning of their parenting journey or is in the middle of parenting a child or adolescent. Through relatable stories and scenarios of the chaos of parenting, you feel comforted and not alone with the wisdom and hope this book imparts.

A must-read for all parents. Written with warmth and generosity, it is jam-packed with valuable strategies for parents. I love the format of the short chapters, which are easy to read one at a time to get help and ideas. I love that as a very experienced psychologist, she shares her wonderful clinical knowledge but also her personal experience.
