Olivia will no longer be the only child. A new member of the family is on the way! For the parents this is a busy, happy time preparing for the new arrival. But how does Olivia feel about having a new sibling?

Olivia is shown she is a much loved, valued, and important member of the family. This book, intended to be read to toddlers, helps prepare them for their parent’s inevitable distraction by the baby’s needs. This can help to reinforce family love and avoid the troubles and conflict that often arise among young siblings.

Diane Waller was born in Waltham Abbey, Essex. She currently lives in Rayleigh – still the same county – where her children live close by. Diane has had a professional career as a beauty therapist for 35 years working in the West End. In the last ten years, she has worked in the community and care homes, caring for people with dementia. Diane’s two children are now starting families of their own. Diane loves family life and has written Olivia and Her Baby for her granddaughter.

Fantastic! A beautiful book outlining the introduction of a new baby into the house.

The book is simplistic with lovely illustrations and looks at things from the sibling's point of view.

This can be a confusing and challenging time for both parents and children when a new baby arrives as we can testify!!

    Would recommend it highly.
