Fun and frolics on the Severn Valley steam railway. Meet the Dalmatian driver, have tea with the otters, and find out what my cats get up to when they go out. With train-spotting voles and poetry-loving owls, this is a ride we’ll never forget!

Born to a family of itinerant Methodists in 1972, Claire Ambler toured Northumbria and later attended Sheffield Girl’s High and Newcastle Medical school. More wandering ensued before she eventually settled into General Practice in Wolverhampton, the best job in the world (apart from the hours, stress and money). To stay sane, she dabbles in the arts and avoids hoovering. A husband and two sons also help preserve her sanity. She believes life has become too serious and that we should all have more fun.

My daughter loves this book! We got it for Christmas and enjoys reading it with mommy. She also explores the book herself pointing out the animals she can recognise!
