Carole Bosanko worked as a clinical psychologist in the National Health Service for over 30 years. She is also a mindful self-compassion teacher and has run many courses, workshops and events across the UK.

Carole uses meditation, mindfulness and self-compassion within her own life and is passionate about developing approaches that help people improve their health and well-being.

This is the first of a series of books that show how mindfulness and self-compassion can enhance our daily lives.

    A book that shines a light on Mindfulness and introduces exercises which can help on a daily basis. Offering the reader a way of understanding and applying mindfulness in a way that enables them to chose their path through life.
    The reader can dip in and out of Mindfulness for Cat Lovers to find a way of addressing challenging situations and relationships. I associate myself most clearly with pages 30 and 31.

    Have you ever looked at your cat through new eyes? Mindfulness for Cat Lovers will lead you through a course of Mindfulness and Self Compassion exercises using your closest friend as an example. Together they will become a guiding light to engage with every day.

    The pages I have taken to reflect on after my first read are pages 30 and 31.
    I’m sure you’ll find many pages where you find help seeing your way through the many pleasures and challenges in life.

    Thank you for such a great book! I'm really having fun with my cat and feel so much closer to her. I'm dipping into different parts of the book and love the suggestions. I've tried Mindfulness before, but doing it with my cat, is something I wouldn't have thought of. I appreciate the long, short and medium time allocation, as I really like how I can fill in a few spare minutes or spend longer being mindful. I'm definitely slowing down and noticing what's going on around me, so much more. The pictures of cats and quotes from famous people added to the enjoyment of the book. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends who are cat owners.

    A great easy to read book!

    The book provided me a better connection with my cat. By slowing down and really observing my cats breathing has helped me to focus more.

    The mindfulness techniques keep you grounded and once the you have learnt them they can be utilised in any situation.

    Reading a book involving your cat, what could be better!! I really enjoyed reading this book ...
