Martha the mouse and her friends Owl, Ted, Fliss, Squirrel, Rabbit, and Fox decide to have a fun day out in Crickledown Wood. David Williams was born in Dover in 1950. He was educated locally. He married Pat in 1970. David worked for a local firm for 48 years until he retired in 2015. They have two sons and two grandchildren. David wrote the story and characters with input from his grandchildren.
