Born in 1995 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, Ela Mancillas graduated from the University of Visual Arts with a degree in language and audiovisual production. At the age of ten, she achieved the publication of a short story in a book called ‘Ellos también cuentan’. She also published a book in Spanish titled Una vida por otra’through the LACRE Publishing House.
