Meet Lottie, the art-loving Labrador!

Lottie’s tail wags with excitement at the thought of beautiful paintings. Her dream? To visit the National Gallery Singapore!

But oh no! Dogs aren’t allowed inside museums.

Will Lottie’s artistic dreams be dashed? Or will she find a clever way to explore the Gallery’s treasures?

Join Lottie on her colourful adventure as she discovers the joy of art in unexpected ways. This tale of creativity and determination will inspire young readers to think outside the box and follow their passions.

Basabi developed an interest in writing children’s books during her stints as a teacher of English. Her first three illustrated books were about the life and times of an adorable Maltese called Poochie who spent thirteen eventful years with her family. The character of Lottie is based on her pet Labrador Libby, who has a wide range of interests: chasing wild roosters, playing with squirrels and a neighbourhood cat, listening intently to family conversations and devising ingenious ways to wrangle tidbits during family mealtimes!
