Mina Michaels wakes up at Clandestine Arts Academy only to realise it’s a place she’s all too familiar with but not what the brochure makes it out to be. Persuaded to enrol, she learns this place holds the key to her forgotten past. Enthralled by a world of spirit walkers, royals and alphas, her journey becomes a race against time to unleash her inner spirit and bring calm to a world breaking out in chaos whilst in the midst of finding true love. You too can join the main protagonist in escaping reality to discover the mysterious world that exists parallel to the one you know.

R M A Wulf enters the world of published books with a story that pivots on themes of shape-shifting, empowerment of women and cultural diversity. Having worked with young people most of her life, she’s had the opportunity to cross paths with people of all backgrounds and walks of life. This has helped her forge some great relationships with friends and family whilst appreciating her roots, growing up in a dual culture. Wulf’s life experiences provide the inspiration for writing her debut piece that has characters battling friendship, loyalty and their conscience in a world overrun by entitled privilege.

At first, I did find the first 2 chapters confusing however it kept me reading... It's been a while I read a book in 2 days. I definitely like the different cultures portrayed and the POV sections add something extra I've not seen before. The cliffhanger at the end was annoying in a good way, I hope it's not long till the next book?! I will definitely be buying a physical copy and share.

I could not put it down! The ending? I need more!

I got my copy off Amazon, someone recommended it to me. At first, I thought it was an average story but it has a lot of interesting things going on. Now I don't want to finish it and I'm almost halfway.

This is a wonderful read, a visual writer.

I don't understand why people aren't talking about this yet? It's got so much potential to go far, some Twilight and H.Potter vibes with more romance and culture. Love it! I just wish it didn't end as quickly as it did... can't wait to read what's next.

It took me a little while to get into it and when I did, it finished too soon. I would have liked there to be more, there were some questions that I would have preferred to have answers to, but it could be the writer's way to keep us reading. Anyway, it definitely is worth a read but be patient with the first chapter, the story definitely picks up after chapter two and is quite the journey. This is more of a story for teens and young adults interested in fantasy romance.

There's more depth to this book than just a fantasy romance. It portrays the struggles of a young woman trying to find her place in a world she has no recollection of, she is vulnerable and tries her utmost to not show her weakness. She's afraid of not living up to the high expectations others have of her when ultimately she has yet to come to terms with her own situation.
I can't deny its an enjoyable, easy read however I would have liked to see the true antagonist. The flow of the story is quite the linear experience so I understand that the wait for the antagonist to show his/her face, which intrigues me more to delve into whatever is next. I read it as a journal, I became the dear diary?! I'd recommend this read with Valentine's day is round the corner, the male leads definitely are worth knowing. I have very high expectations for what happens next!!

This book took me by surprise, my expectations were not high, as fantasy isn't my usual go-to genre. I'm glad I read it, the love triangle is very appealing. Well done, I think this has the potential to be special, give it a read!!
