Whether it is the first day at a new school or after school club to then moving to a new city and a new job as we get older, we all know the feeling of being the new kid on the block!
This story introduces us to the idea that being new is actually a great opportunity as well as celebrating the diverse landscape of a beautiful city – London.
Emily Voss, also known as Evie, is from a small town in rural Cambridgeshire but has lived and worked in London since graduating from the University of York in 2011.
Following her studies in History of Art she moved to the big city to follow a successful career in UK and international men’s fashion. Therefore, the inspiration for her writing is the vibrant place she now calls home.
She has a particular love of country music, Disney movies and enjoys baking cakes for her family and friends.
