What is a memory? I always thought that memories belonged to a person but recently something has been stealing the memories of my grampa. The good thing about a memory is that it usually belongs to more than one person… I can keep my memories of grampa safe even when his are gone.A story about Alzheimer’s Dementia to be shared by families who are experiencing the challenges of this illness.

Linzi Bowden is a Principal Teacher in a Primary School in Scotland and has had the privilege to be able to guide many children through their learning journeys, with a particular emphasis on supporting their emotional wellbeing. This was what influenced her to first put pen to paper in the hopes that her words and illustrations could help families support their children with big changes in their lives. Her first book, Mummy’s Tummy, was published in 2022 and was inspired by her own pregnancy journey. Her latest book, Grampa’s Memory has been developed over time as her step-dad has been facing his own Alzheimer’s-Dementia battle.
