Ina Brink was born on September 3, 1972 in Kimberley, South Africa.
She graduated from La Rochelle Girls High school 1990 and went on to study clothing design and production. She served for four years in the Police Force.
She has been married for 25 years and has three daughters. She also ran a small dressmaking business from home for nine years and has been actively writing for 14 years.
Her hobbies include painting and dressmaking.

Defeated by Justice was n uitstekende boek. Soms het die trane geloop, soms het ek gelag en ander kere was ek kwaad! Omdat ek deur eenderse gebeure gaan in my lewe het ek baie aanklank gevind uit hierdie verhaal en saam met Nicole n pad gestap en lesse geleer om beter vir myself te wil he in die lewe. Ek het soveel boodskappe en antwoorde gekry. Dankie Ina, dat jy jou lewensverhaal met my en soveel ander gedeel het.
Ek kan hierdie boek volhartig aanbeveel en sal hom deel met almal wat ek glo ook n boodskap hieruit kan neem.

Ina Brink's Defeated by Justice was an awesome read, I literally couldn't put down her book. Every page kept me hooked and totally intrigued. An absolute must read!
