Rebecca Hobbs’ stories are inspired by her day-to-day experiences in the classroom as a primary school teacher and being with her own two young children. When not covered in paint, head to toe in glitter or ‘eating’ playdough creations, Rebecca enjoys writing stories for children, combining relatable themes with a little touch of magic. She is a fan of biscuits, cardigans and daydreaming.

'Caught It' is a heart-warming read for all ages and will bring a smile to every family member of any age.

Although this story is a fantastic device for putting those fears about starting school at ease, the message within it provides so much more. This tale, alongside the charming illustrations, really makes you stop and treasure the little things we can do to show others that we care. It is so easy to get caught up in giving huge shiny presents as gestures of love (and it cannot be denied that they are fun to receive!) but this book really brings home how something simple as blowing a kiss to those we love is a gift that money cannot put a price on.

I would recommend this book to anyone who knows a child starting school but also to any young person who needs a reminder to look for the little things to know how much they are loved.

This story is about a little girl called Evie, who loves her Mummy so very much. When Evie starts school, she is very worried about how much she will miss her Mummy. Evie's Mummy blows her a kiss goodbye, Catch it her teacher says, "catch all the kisses that come your way they will make you feel loved throughout the day." Making Evie feel happy and loved. She then shows her family and friends how to share their love too.

I read this to my little girl the night before she started back at school. I knew going back was going to be difficult as she struggles with separation anxiety. When dropping her off I could see she was starting to get upset. I remembered the story. I blew her a kiss and said, "Catch it." She then caught it and said, "I will keep it in my heart" Then walked into class. I couldn't have been more happy. It helped my little girl so much.

This is such a heart-warming and touching story about believing in the magic and power of love. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Heading back to school is such a fun, nerve-racking, overwhelming time for everyone! Parents, teachers and students alike tend to feel nervous about something (though it may be different for all of them). Caught It by Rebecca Hobbs help calm nerves, let students relax, and give the kids a shared experience of being close to their parents and loved onces, when she discovers the magic of catching and blowing kisses; helping her to enjoy her very first day of school.

This book is with more detail and other subtle messages. A fantastic book for the little ones about acknowledging a way of coping with letting go. She will learn that comfort can be brought by the invisible kisses , What will she do? How will she get through the day without her Mummy? She will miss her so much. The underlying tone sends the message that that the people we love and miss can still remain near - however far away they may seem, if even you are far away from home. The illustrations work perfectly with the storyline and bring in diversity and other areas. Love the message to the magic of catching and blowing kisses.

Very cute story with a great message. I like the simplicity of the story but the huge lesson that is built into it. I hope this book makes it into the hands of every child.

Great message for young children, and in a story that can relate to.

    Highly Recommended!

A book that makes the reader work and places us in the current situation and succeeds in translating visual and learning experience for the little readers.
Amazingly woven like an interesting spell. I didn't think this book was going to be this good. It was , as you might expect , engaging , a total different piece of art from every aspect.
It sets a very high bar for whatever she does that comes next.

It is very rare for a book to have its characters live beyond the pages, and at the same time let it transcend its own genre into something else. Caught It does that, and more.
