Feeling like an outsider, a magical unicorn scours the African Savannah, desperate to find where he fits in…Bob is a lonely unicorn who longs to make some friends. He journeys through the African Savannah, approaching many different herds of animals, but is turned away time and time again because he looks different to them. That is, until he discovers that there are more of his own kind! But could it be that Bob has been searching for friendship in all the wrong places and that, perhaps, a true friend has been closer than he realised all along? This heart-warming, rhyming tale explores the feeling of being ‘left out’ and unveils a friendship that goes beyond superficial differences.
Claire Whitworth has enjoyed writing poetry and short stories from a young age, even entering poetry competitions as a child. Since becoming a mum, her favourite way to spend time with her son and daughter is sharing stories together. For Claire, writing is escapism and offers her the freedom to lose herself in her imagination, a stark contrast to her full-time job as an A Level maths teacher. Claire lives in West Yorkshire, England, with her husband and two young children.
