Barry dreams of having an adventure and asks his friend Colin to come along with him. What lies beyond the wall, could Barry have a chance of finding out? It’s a little scary on the way but a wonderful world unfolds before him and it is so exciting. Take the journey with him and see all the wonders and what excitement lies in store on this trip away from home, ride along on this tale of friendship, happiness and being glad that you can always come back home and be with the ones you love.

As a child Sandra would explore the Cheshire countryside and imagine stories of little creatures that would live in the undergrowth or by a country wall, she loved fairy stories and would love to go to the library and search out old books that had a simple message and ones that another generation had cherished. Although always wanting to write, life always seemed to get in the way, so this is her first short story to be published and it is a story of friendship and the importance of home. Sandra now lives in Somerset and now her children are adults she is concentrating on writing.
