Gerry Moloney was born in Cobh, Co Cork, and now lives in Howth, Co Dublin with his wife Anne. They have two children and two grandchildren. He was an Executive Director of Allied Irish Investment Bank, and Investment Director of Enterprise Ireland. He has also worked internationally as an Investment Banking Consultant on Government contracts, and is currently an independent non executive director of a number of investment funds in Dublin's International financial Services Centre. He received the Certificate in Creative Writing for Publication at the National University of Ireland Maynooth in 2013 and is a founder member of the Sapphire Writers Group at The Irish Writers Centre. A Game of Consequences is his debut novel.
