Austin Macauley is thrilled to celebrate World Book Day! This special day signifies and celebrated the oldest tool to document information and most reliable companion for mankind. Books convey philosophies, agendas, ideas, concepts, and emotions. They serve the important purpose of preserving the information for generations to come.

Books are not only friends to keep you company in leisurely times, but they also open a gateway to your imagination! Books aid the readers in personality and character development. The more books you read, the wiser you will feel. Influence of books on personal growth has been acknowledged by the greatest of minds across the centuries.

Books have the capacity of shaping one’s personality, but also has the power to widen the reader’s intellectual horizon. Books expose us to new and novel concepts, offering us information which is otherwise unavailable for us.

Books don’t only play an important role only in personal growth, but can also influence the fates of countries and influence generations to come. Society reflects the type of books they read. This is the reason certain books with agendas harmful to the government are sometimes banned in certain countries.

It is possible to shape society or generation in the desired way by exposing them to certain ways. Such is the influence of the books. Austin Macauley will be celebrating World Book Day by doing a Book Swap! Books will be swapped around the offices, staff reading books they might have never! Just to celebrate the importance of literature.

A representative from Austin Macauley will also be visiting Beaudesert Lower School to talk to the pupils about the publishing process and hand out some of our fantastic children’s books with activity packs!
