Austin Macauley: London Book Fair Round Up

Last week marked one of the biggest events of the year within the publishing industry – The London Book Fair. 2016 was the exhibition’s second running at Olympia – a fantastic open space and pretty decent architecture for an exhibition hall.

Keeping in theme with the recent redesign of our website, our stand was fresh, bright and welcoming (if we do say so ourselves). If you were there you may have also noticed that we had a banner featuring a few of our titles in the main hall.

Over the course of the three days we met with a wealth of new and familiar faces. We welcomed to our stand, and spoke with, authors, distributors, printers, designers, publishers, journalists, tech specialists – the list really does go on.

Positioned opposite Author HQ, our stand really was in the optimum space. Between meetings and speaking with people we were able to tune in and out of the talks being held, gaining new insights into the current market, as well as hearing from key influencers in the industry. Once again we have come away from another London Book Fair full of new ideas, a surplus of useful information and a lot of positivity.
