Tom Hollinshead
Tom Hollinshead (aged 83 and a quarter) was born just before the start of World War II in the Black Country. His early childhood was spent scrumping, fishing for tadpoles, swimming in canals, swinging from Tarzan ropes and building go-carts out of old boxes and scrap pieces of wood. His sense of adventure fed his vivid imagination and love of story-telling. The Jimmy Brown stories mark Tom’s debut as an author. As he says, better late than never. He lives with his wife, Iris, in Perton on the West Midlands and Shropshire border.
