T. A. Conway was brought up in Crosby, Liverpool in a family of five where her mum and dad encouraged herself, sister and brother to enjoy reading for pleasure. This is something she has continued to pass on to her own family. She has worked as a secondary school food teacher in Salford and Wigan since 1988. T. A. Conway is married and lives at home with her husband and youngest daughter, who wants to work with animals. She has two older children who are teachers and three beautiful granddaughters.
