Susan Bastone

Susan Bastone has been an avid reader and writer all her life. She spent most of her childhood gazing out of windows or with her head in a book. A love of history led her to research her family and the local and social history of her times, and a lifetime of writing: journals, poetry, articles and blogs, inspired her to write her own story.

As a school librarian, she passed on her passion for reading and writing to generations of children and has been instrumental in setting up literacy projects and awards for young people. She lives in Wiltshire with her husband, two cats and an awful lot of books.
