Jack Stead was born in London to Irish parents. Went over land to Australia when 17-18. Magical experiences on the way, especially in Penang which was an R+R centre back. Came back to the UK, did a number of jobs and then became an IFC and partner in IFC. Since retirement, has lived in Sabah, Borneo, and is now in Portugal, ready to go back to the UK.
