Roy C Porter
In 1982, Roy C Porter resigned from his job as an engineer with a fibre manufacturing company in Londonderry to become a missionary director with a children’s mission. Roy travelled throughout Danegal in Southern Ireland and parts of Europe. He spent ten years in Londonderry and then ten years in the Isle of Man.
Following retirement, Roy began to write. His first book contained a series of Bible Devotionals, his next, an autobigraphy entitled The Derry Boy and the Egg. Next he wrote a novel, The Ayre Conspiracy, followed by another novel Windmills in the Mist. He then compiled a second set of Devotionals, followed by the present edition of short stories.
