As a primary school teacher, Rizwana Khan is passionate about supporting young minds develop a love of reading. She loves story time and sharing books with her class. Her favourite authors include Julia Donaldson, Michael Rosen and Oliver Jeffers. These experiences and authors have inspired her to start writing books which children love, learn from and would want to read again and again. She aims to write stories which encourage kindness, positivity and self-belief. The bright, charming, self-illustrated pictures in her books help bring her memorable characters and stories to life.
