Mohsen Aboutorabi is the professor of Architecture at the Birmingham City University in the UK. He had worked for 7 years between 1995 and 2001 on many projects for improving the housing condition in black townships around Cape Town in South Africa with the support of Margarette Pierson Research Trust, the British Department of International Development (DFID), and the British Lottery Charity Fund.
