Margaret Cawsey
Margaret Cawsey was born a long time ago in Melbourne, Australia. When she was nine, she moved with her family to Canberra and has lived there ever since. From the age of twenty-one, she has applied information management methodologies to the fields of biological science, working with ecologists, parasitologists, statisticians, modellers and taxonomists. When she’s not constrained by real science, she spends her leisure hours making it up, seeking advice on whether her imaginings might have some vague basis in currently accepted fact. She has two children, a daughter who is too far away, in North Carolina, USA; and a son, who also resides in Canberra. Her partner of twenty-eight years is a parasitologist and taxonomist with expertise in nematodes and other parasites of Australian wildlife.
