Louise Lindley grew up in the northeast of England. In 2004, she moved to Canada with her husband, a pediatric anesthetist, for what was supposed to be 1 year. Fifteen years later, she appears to be staying. Before giving up her career to raise her family, she worked as a pediatric intensive care nurse. When she was diagnosed with a chronic disease in 2010, she turned to writing, combining her knowledge of the medical world with personal life experiences. She lives in Vancouver with her family and too many animals.
