Kevin Patrick Harry O'Connor

The author was born in 1945 in a small town called Belvedere which lies between Dartford in Kent, and Woolwich in London. He went to a small primary school and was taught by Catholic nuns. He is a Catholic himself and his religion is very important to him. He failed his 11+ exams and went on to attend a Church of England secondary school.


He left school at fifteen and started an engineering apprenticeship, he had a natural aptitude for the job.
