Kay King

Kay is a psychotherapist who has worked with adults and children with mental health difficulties. After ten years’ experience working with children in a variety of capacities, Kay has found her passion working with some of the most vulnerable children in society, children in care. The young people Kay works with have various social, emotional, mental health and behavioural needs which are all underpinned by early traumatic experiences. Their experience in care is a huge part of their healing process and Kay wants to raise awareness for these young people so that their experience of living in care is not with stigma from others and has more recognition and validation by all.
